Education is at the heart of what we do at ABI, and this season we’re meeting people where they are, from the field to the screen.
For those just getting started, our new Dr. T video series breaks down the basics of biochar in an accessible, approachable way; with more episodes coming in the next few months. For those ready to learn more, our Growing with Biochar training sessions in Oregon and Washington brought together ag professionals eager to take practical biochar knowledge back to the farmers and landscapes they serve. And for those ready to dig deeper into the details, our new biochar application rate conversion calculator and educational fact sheets are now live on the website, giving growers and advisors the tools they need to make confident decisions.
There’s much more coming in the months ahead. We believe that when good information reaches the right hands, real change follows, and we’re grateful to be part of that work with you.
The team also came together for a retreat to map out our five-year market development strategy. Standards only matter if the markets they support actually grow, so it was the right time to step back and plan where we want biochar demand to be in the coming years and how we plan on working to get it there. The conversation was energizing: we have real resources and networks already in place to turn this strategy from a planning exercise into an action plan.
