US Certified is ABI’s certification pathway for individuals who complete our self-paced training and demonstrate their understanding through a short assessment. Certification shows that a participant has engaged with ABI’s training content and passed the required quiz.
The US Certified Directory includes biochar professionals supporting the industry.

This training is designed for US practioners looking for industry certification.
Year-Round Presence
Your listing remains active for 12 months from the date it is published, providing ongoing visibility within the industry.
How Certification Works
Step 1: Enroll
Register and pay the one-time $125 enrollment fee to gain access to the training course.
Step 2: Complete the Training
Work through the self-paced video training at your own speed, across as many sessions as you need. Course materials include instructional videos and downloadable handouts.
Step 3: Pass the Quiz
Once you’ve completed the training, take the multiple-choice quiz to demonstrate your understanding of the material.
Step 4: Receive Your Certificate
Participants who pass the quiz receive a US Certified completion certificate and are listed in the ABI US Certified Directory for as long as their annual listing fee is current.

$25 USD per year

Certification indicates that a participant has completed the required coursework and passed the quiz. It reflects successful completion of ABI’s training program only.
